Lot of hype was being generated on the news of HRD minister Kapil Sibal releasing the $35 computer which was considered to be “Micromax Tablet killer” by respected news agencies. Finally Sibal released the prototype a little before its official release date of 5th October due to multiple requests from Apple inc. Sibal said soon every Indian will have access to this device and it will change the way we do computing!
PS: To be honest it is not as bad as the comic makes it look like. The product is quite well designed for its price and quite an achievement of engineering. Here is an interview with the CEO of the company that made it possible.
